Snippets Panel v0.1
Yesterday I was going through the list of new features in CS3 for the JSAPI and I found fl.clipCopyString(string). This has been a feature I have been waiting for since mx2004 came out. And more just because I wanted to create a Snippets Panel. So I spent some time yesterday putting together something pretty quick. I haven’t tested it all that much and the UI is pretty simple right now. But I’d like to get some feedback first before going moving to far forward. The thing to keep in mind is that you can only copy the snippets to the clipboard and they don’t actually get pasted where your cursor has focus. May 30th, 2007 at 12:11 pmvery important feature. There is a big need for this kind of snippets panel for the flash designers. You can also add an “edit” functionality and a grouping by folder system with simple as files like the SEPY or like the Dreamweaver. Can you tell me where you store this snippets. Where is the address of the file inside the forlder of the flash?
October 17th, 2007 at 5:02 pmiI looked for some time before i ran acroos your snippents panel here. It Works Great with cs4. Just wanted to stop by and say THANK YOU!
If you create any more useful projects such as this one I’d love to give them a shot if you will.
Thanks again,
Ramon
PS: if you have an extra moment, can you possibly tell me where in my system I might be able to find the root of this extension so i can copy it’s contents to my pc at work. thus way I don’t have to do all the saving twice. Probably a dumb question, “ROOKIE, I KNOW.”
August 24th, 2009 at 2:44 pmIt’s been so long since I developed that and I am pretty sure it puts files in more then 1 folder. Your best bet would be to download and install it again so you don’t miss any files. Glad it came in handy.
